David, a University of Ottawa Human Kinetics graduate, has spent over a decade as a fitness coach and personal trainer. Now a registered Kinesiologist and certified Fascial Stretch Therapist, he specializes in rehabilitation and corrective movement. Complementing his holistic health approach with numerous certifications, including Crossfit and Olympic lifting, David emphasizes functional movement and education on progression, not perfection.
Veronique Gareau is a Registered Massage Therapist and is currently in her third year of Osteopathic Manual Therapy studies. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics with honors from the University of Ottawa. Her involvement in sports, along with the injuries she experienced, sparked her curiosity in how the body functions and heals. This naturally led her to the rehabilitation field, where she developed a passion for helping others recover and regain strength. Having gone through the process herself, she is dedicated to supporting others on their path to recovery and optimal health.
With her current studies in Osteopathic Manual Therapy, Veronique adopts a holistic, personalized approach to meet each individual’s needs. She incorporates a variety of techniques into her treatments,
including myofascial release, muscle energy technique (MET), joint mobilizations, cranial sacral therapy (CST), strain-counterstrain,
nervous system balancing, circulation and lymphatic techniques, trigger point therapy, Swedish techniques, and exercise and movement strategies. Veronique has a special interest in sports injuries, concussions,
whiplash, TMJ disorders, post-surgical recovery, musculoskeletal pain,
chronic pain, and rehabilitation. However, she is not limited to treating these conditions and is equipped to address a wide range of
health concerns. She offers her services in both French and English.
